UPDATE: CETAG -PRINCOF MEETING ENDS INCONCLUSIVELY, NEW DATE SET

As we rightly communicated earlier, the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) embarked on a nationwide mandatory annual leave of 28 working days which began on the 1st of September, 2022. The Principals of Colleges of Education has since the release by CETAG, tried to resolve the issue amicably by engaging the leadership of CETAG in a hopeful dialogue on JOYNEWS. Unfortunately no consensus was reached in the said dialogue and a date was set for further negotiations by the two bodies. A meeting was scheduled for the 13th of September, 2022 under which a possible resolution was to be drawn, discussed and implemented.

THE BASE can confirm that the meeting held on Tuesday the 13th of September, ended inconclusively, that is, no resolution was reached and the two sides had to set another date for renegotiations. The two parties agreed to meet on Thursday, the 15th of September 2022 for final discussions and arrangements. KEEP GLUED TO THE BASE FOR UPDATES ON THIS
