The delay in the payment of teacher trainee allowances has enraged trainees to the core. The mouthpiece of these troubled trainees has been severally described as 'a toothless bulldog' following its (TTAG) silence about the failure of the government of Ghana to pay trainees allowances. This perception of TTAG, whether true or unjustifiable has contributed a massive loss of confidence in the body resulting in trainees taking matters into their own hands. As a result trainees, through the efforts of some pioneers in the household names of Danso Archiba(president), Asante Agyarko Bright(vice), Otuo Eugene(Gen. Secretary)  etc.. have taken to the media to express their grievances.  One such release is highlighted below.

We bring you our warmest greetings from the secretariat of the Coalition of Cocerned Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (CCTT). The leadership of the aforementioned Association is through this missive expressing its displeasure over the undue delay in the payment of the restored Teacher Trainees allowance.
We are highly saddened and disappointed in the government of the Republic of Ghana for its failure to pay Teacher Trainees Allowances that has been outstanding for six months .We also therefore express our displeasure towards our mother Teacher Training Association of Ghana (TTAG) due to the failure of its significant relief role, and also being silent after giving the Government three weeks ultimatum to pay trainees allowance.
Hence forth, the Coalition of Concern Teacher Trainees Association (CCTT) releases this statement to create the awareness of the General Public and all Media Houses on its Press Conference to he held  few days ahead. We would like to use this medium to call on all media houses to be present in the up coming Press Conference to be held which will be communicated to them soon.
