 CONFIRMED! MACRO TEACHING  EXTENDED

Information reaching THE BASE posits that the completion date for the macro teaching programme for colleges of Education has been extended to the 23rd April, 2023 to make up for the inadequacy of credit hours for the course. 

The Supported Teaching in Schools(STS) Committee noted and agreed on the following:

1. When the Basic Schools vacate on 24th March 2023, the mentees on the Macro-Teaching would have done two (2) months on the field instead of three (3) months.
2. For the mentees to meet the three (3) months of mandatory Macro-Teaching, there is the need to continue when Basic Schools reopen.
3. The mentees are to remain at the post during the five (5) working days that Basic Schools will be on vacation.
4. The vacation period should be treated as part of the Macro-Teaching and mentees are encouraged to use the period for revision toward their 3rd-Year Second Semester Mid-Semester Quiz and End-of-Second-Semester Examinations.
5. Mentees are to continue the Macro-Teaching from 3rd April 2023 till the 23rd of April 2023 until given further directives.

NB: Mentees are therefore urged to treat this communique with all the seriousness it deserves.
